Aaron grew up fishing in central Michigan, where time on the water was part of everyday life. After moving to Aspen in 1991, he fell in love with the rivers of the Roaring Fork Valley.
What began as time spent wade fishing, tying flies, and exploring mountain waters grew into a career as a guide and eventually Aspen Guide Service.
Today, Aaron brings 30 years of guiding experience to his trips. As an owner-operator, he personally guides clients when available. When he can't, he can connect guests with an experienced local guide from his network.
